The Skilled Migrant Category Resident Visa is the most popular NZ visa. To apply for this visa Immigration New Zealand invites the people, who have the skills to contribute to economic growth of the country. The Immigration NZ has designed the Skilled Immigration Points Calculator to allow suitable foreign skilled workers to submit Expression of Interest (EOI) for SMC Visa. The EOI includes the information about your employment in New Zealand, work experience, and qualifications, etc. The points table shows the points that are applicable on and after 28 August 2017.
If your EOI is selected, the Immigration NZ will offer you the opportunity to apply to live and work in New Zealand permanently.
The given NZ Immigration point calculator is a guide only and only an immigration officer can award you points during their assessment of your visa application. If you are able to claim at least 100 points as per this NZ immigration point system, you may be eligible to apply for Skilled Migrant Category Resident Visa. Points for Age factors the age is one of the key selection factors of NZ immigration. You can obtain maximum 30 points for this factor depending upon your age group.
